Our process

Panacea Landscapes focuses on a total understanding of the needs and wants of each client, and designing gardens to complement your home and lifestyle by utilising sustainable and naturally appealing materials, such as stones, timbers, pots and plants.

Our design process has 3 distinct stages that commence from the first face-to-face meeting.

Site meeting → Concept design → Master plan

Step 1 - Consultation & Site Assessment

We conduct an initial consultation to discuss your ideas and offer our suggestions to maximize the potential of your garden.

We will assess the existing architecture of the site, aspect, soil condition and current elements to help give the best recommendations. We will also take photographs of your site for future reference.

This initial consultation can take up to 60 minutes.

We will then prepare a full design proposal and quote for the design of your project. A quote for construction will be provided after the design stage.

Step 2 - Concept Design

Having discussed your ideas, we will compile a concept design that is intended as a blueprint for your garden.

This will include a layout of the garden and major structures, materials, finishes, features and plant suggestions.

Two reviews of the concept design are also included in this stage, with the option to add additional details and specifications.

We also offer an optional 3D rendered walkthrough video of your proposed design.

Step 3 - Master Plan

Following approval of the design concept plan, we will provide a master plan which will include a schedule of fixtures, a full schedule of materials, finishes and planting schedule.

We also offer a services plan for irrigation and lighting, sections and elevations if needed.

Once the design process is complete, quoting for construction and the garden build are up next:

Step 4 - Quotation for Garden Construction

We will submit an itemised quote to meet your budget that covers all elements of construction and installation.

Once accepted we will draft an industry approved contract, submit relevant insurances, compile a construction timeline and payment plan.

Step 5 - Garden Construction

Your garden install will commence and proceed by our Construction Supervisor. Clear communication and progress will be provided twice a week or as often as you require.

Variations or changes can also be discussed with the Construction Supervisor at any time.
